Yes. People who come on this spiritual journey commit to being clean and sober and are grounded in their recovery. Most people have a year or more, but exceptions can be made for this people who are steady and ready for a journey such as this. PLEASE NOTE: Quite often, people will come with their partner or loved one. They do not have to be in recovery, but they have to be abstinent for the entire trip with us.
No. There is no nicotine in any form allowed on this trip. On this journey, there’s no need for nicotine.
The yoga we teach is accessible to practitioners at every level.
Absolutely! If you have a partner or friend who is also in recovery or who has supported you in your recovery, please ask them to apply and include your name in their application. Sharing this transformational week with someone close to you is such a gift.
Accommodations for 10 days and nights at The Sattva Retreat Center, all of your meals (delicious, organic Indian food), all lectures, yoga, live music, Satsangs (wisdom talks), group activities, and excursions.
Your transportation to and from Sattva Retreat Center (air and ground), additional meals, and incidentals. The International Yoga Festival is not officially a part of this retreat and therefore not included in the price.
Rishikesh is a cool in the mornings and evenings and warm throughout the day.
You will need a valid passport and VISA (US Residents) to travel to India. If you are traveling from somewhere outside the US, please check travel requirements for your country. Vaccines are not required where we are going in India. Each person should consult with their physician to make a decision about vaccines.
Fly into New Delhi, then you will have a choice of a connecting flight or car rental to Sattva Retreat Center. Once we receive your application, we will guide you through the process.
The International Yoga Festival is an incredible experience that we highly recommend! The festival will take place March 9-15, 2026, at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. If you choose to come with us we’ll guide you through the process.
